Time as their friends, and frequently reach out to new guests, creating a laid-back social vibe.įrom a style perspective, though, things are a little less warm and fuzzy, and the hotel is unmistakably dated. Instead, the guests - many of whom are returning visitors - seem to plan their visits to the Paradise Beach Villas at the same In fact, don't come here if you're looking for solitude. Staff with hugs at this low-key mid-range resort, and this hotel seems like the kind of place to find friends new and old. Aruba is a beautiful place and they are a lot of places to stay so if you wish to enjoy your vacation I would recommend you stay anywhere but Paradise Beach Villas.Retired Americans make good-natured jabs at each other and greet I wrote a letter to the manager outlying my concerns but Bianca couldn’t even bother to reply. Now this in spite of signs all over saying everyone using the pool facilities must have a resort wristband. I asked one guard how many outside guests were allowed and he said he didn’t care they could have 50 people if they want. ![]() Unfortunately this was just as bad as the supposed security were letting many many friends and family of guests in but not controlling these non guests so we could not use the pool. As our room was so disgusting we tried to spend more time by the pool. The front desk staff Sandra, Gisele and the rest were all useless and rude. It was also the smallest and worst laid out room we have ever been forced to spend time in. Complaining instantly to the front desk I was told there were no other rooms available and offered no resolution to the state of the room. Upon opening the door the mold smell hit you in the face and opening the cupboard doors the stench was unbearable. We booked a studio room as we were told there were no other rooms available. Seriously, save your money or free week time share. Overall, I loved Aruba but was absolutely disgusted by Paradise Beach Villas. Their phone rooms were working on/off the entire stay but suddenly that’s MY fault? Between these two encounters, my anxiety was so bad. This man had the audacity to accuse me of disconnecting the room phone after speaking with Jeanette. Not more than 5 minutes later, there’s another knock on the door. I told her we’d start packing immediately. I was so shocked, I didn’t even argue back. You need to get out the room or the next call I make is security.” I have never in my entire life been spoken to that way, especially by someone in the hospitality business. She then rudely responded, “I don’t know who told you that but my entire staff is on the same page. I explained to her that we were told we could stay until 2 when our ride was coming. When I opened the door, Jeanette, the housekeeping manager, immediately asked why we were still in the room. So now its the next day at 11am and someone’s knocking at the door. We asked the front desk the day before if we could extend our check out and were told yes. ![]() Check out is 10am but our ride service wasn’t picking us up until 2pm. Now let’s fast forward to check out (more like us getting kicked out). She was very sympathetic about our ordeal. The only person I can say something nice about was our waitress, Sylvia. And what they gave us was a room infested with ants. When the rooms were ready (hours later), they still did not give us the right rooms but we were so fed up, we took what they gave us. The rooms were paid for so naturally we demanded exactly what we paid for! Then, WE were the ones that said we’d go eat somewhere to give them time to figure the rooms out. The front desk manager then came and suggested we share the king bed that was in the 1 bedroom amongst 3 grown adults. We requested two 2-bedroom suites but were only given 1 and the other room was a 1-bedroom suite. My family and I had planned this trip months in advanced but we were told by the front desk woman (Najindra, clearly hates her job) that those rooms were not available. We went to the front desk and told them our rooms had the incorrect number of bedrooms per suite. But when we got inside our rooms, everything was wrong. When we checked in, everything seemed fine. Where do I begin with my terrible review? How about literally the moment we stepped foot on the property.
